Bernard Brooks - Swing & Sway no.14

Introducing Bernard Brooks, who from the title of this CD is one of the more prolific of our sequence dancing players. He's the originator of the 'sequence quack', a charming staccato effect which comes from his stabbing his organ. A crude innuendo I'm sure you'll agree, but there's a certain amount which I have to write here in order to not look lazy, and I'm certainly up against it what with all the dancing I'm doing. This is a re-rip at 256kbps.

Includes Bernard's version of 'An Ordinary Copper' - the theme from 'Dixon of Dock Green'.

  1. Hi, Slothy
Great post ! Good e-organ + orchestra, gold repertoir, soft sound - no matter - rhythm or slow.

  3. So as the title say Swing and Sway how true if the cd and the front cover suggests, after a night at the local legion on the whiskey take teeth out and "Swing and Sway" home surely that top pocket would have at least four biros in it ? joking apart Bernard plays quite well and although the cover does not suggest which Organ he used by the sound of it,my guess it was yamaha and although this post is highly entertaining Somehow I dont think I will see Bernard on this years Britains got Talent

  5. Thanks all..

Wersiking - I looked at the cover inlay and no mention of the organ he used - it does say it was recorded in Eastbourne, which I somehow knew anyway..

And yes, plenty more Bernard to come!
